For me the first time I watched a blue film was in secondary school, when I went to visit a friend.
He looked left and right, closed the door and slotted the cassette into the VHS player.
It was a short film, but it shook me, but God helped me deal with it… Thank God I was not hooked.
Those days in school, I also first heard about obongide (Professional Amalakite), and I know of some classmates, yeah JSS 2 and I think JSS 3 who patronized them.
Today, however, the onslaught is realer and fiercer…
From social media…
To friends…
To easy accessibility to pornographic materials…
To celebrities encouraging “Ikwa iko”
To night clubs sprouting like plants in a fertile field…
To the subtle sell of sex, everywhere…
That was the burden that led me to complete Sex: The Naked Truth.
If you don’t take care of your wards, if you don’t take care of yourself… Someone will.
