Things are never the way they seem.

Things are never the way they seem.
Spread the love

By Ovundah Nyeche.

And so I have this friend who I meet regularly somewhere.

Whenever he sees me, he call me “Doc” or is it what he even calls me? He then bows and shakes me with both hands.

He is married with children, and in due time, I joined him to bow down and shake with both hands whenever we meet.

And so recently we had an activity in his house and when his gate was opened, I just said in my heart, some people will just be at the gate of heaven and be setting leg for people to fall.

His place was magnificent, and as I climbed the staircase to the first floor, he bowed again and shook with two hands when we met. No Sir, you see that leg wey you dey set, I don jump am pass, tey tey.

Again and again, I have learnt that many times empty vessels and “Money miss roads” na dem form and make noise pass.

Never judge people and size them up based on what you just see on face value, your blessing may be in that so called “Rag” you ruthlessly tossed away.

Things are never really the way they seem to appear.
