Curves today, gone tommorow.

Curves today, gone tommorow.
Spread the love

By Ovundah Nyeche.

Years ago I could run endlessly on a football pitch.

Years ago I could tackle so hard.

But months ago, I entered a football pitch and started breathing as though oxygen would soon be scarce.

I discovered first hand that life had just happened to my body.

Young girl, you won’t be like an hour glass forever.

Your curves, would not always cause a turn.

“Get behind me”, will not always elicit a smile.

People would not always look at your chest before they look at your face.

You see the round would become flat, and the full would be baggy.

Life would happen.

Use your eye turning and neck spinning cycle wisely.

Don’t waste it on a stranger’s bed. Don’t dissipate your strength on a randy lover. Don’t ever think love is measured by how much you summersault on your boyfriend’s bed.

You were made for so much more.

Invest your time building capacity and learning how to say “No”.

You see water will always find its level… It pays to live right.

It pays to live for Jesus.

Deep Wisdom drips from these words. I pray it flows to someone who swims in its substance and finds the strength

    Such understanding would surely bring one to saying the Psalm 90:12 prayer;

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom”.
